Err...Saw that after I already posted...

St. John’s first service was held in October 1816. From that time to the present, every person who has held the office of President of the United States has attended a regular or occasional service at St. John’s. Pew 54 is the President’s Pew, and is reserved for the chief executive’s use when in attendance.
From another site...
Located opposite the White House in Lafayette Square, St. John’s has long been a favorite place of worship for presidents and their families. In fact, says the church’s Website, every president since James Madison has attended services there. There’s even a special pew known as the “President’s Pew.
“According to the Knight Ridder News Service, George W. Bush, a self-professed born-again Christian, worships there regularly: “Bush prefers the 8 a.m. service at St. John’s, where he kneels on a prayer cushion bearing his father’s name, while his wife uses the one bearing President Reagan’s. President Carter’s cushion remains in the pew; President Clinton’s has been moved elsewhere.”
:) Happy Easter!
Yeah, but Obie is as Espicopanian as I am a....an....err...Anamist! Hue difference.
HUGE*
I’m sure George W Bush went to church on Easter, but I don’t recall any big deal publicity about it. But then, Bush had some class.
Apparently not.

“I wonder what great progressive service they will have when Chelsea marries.”
Since Anton LaVey is dead, I couldn’t hazard a guess.
