I’ve known that all along. The “it’s official” is being snarky.
It couldn’t be worse that the country who picks their president based on the color of their skin or because he can read a teleprompter well.
Maybe he’s channeling Rush, smoking is his way of taking us on with one half of his brain tied behind his back, coming down to the level of us mere mortals.
While I don’t disagree with the conclusion, the reasoning is faulty. One cannot use averages of groups to infer characteristics of individual members of said groups. While smokers may have a lower IQ than nonsmokers, on average, individual smokers may very well have a higher IQ than individual nonsmokers. Africans might be taller on average than Eskimos, but not every African is taller than every Eskimo.

If it wasn’t for racial quota prefrences, we’d never heard of the guy. He wouldn’t have been accepted into Columbia or Harvard. How many “B” high school students get accepted into Ivy League schools?
If it wasn’t for his islamic name and his skin color, he wouldn’t have had a chance at getting into Ivy League schools.
Also, he wouldn’t have had a chance to be president after all the rev. Wright tapes came out if he wasn’t black. If that much hatred had been spewed by a white candidate, there’s no way the media would have given him a pass.
Ronaldus Magnus was asked if his training as an actor was useful preparation for being president. He said he considered it essential. Part of the role of president is to be able to lead and persuade. Obama has these skills, do not underestimate or dismiss him.
What Obama lacks are analytic skills and decisiveness of a good leader.
How can you measure with so much data missing?
We aren’t demanding his IQ tests, but we SHOULD be able to see his private prep school transcripts, college transcripts and law school transcripts, his college board scores, his LSATS, and all published works while head of the HLR.
Of most interest to all American would be the info contained in his financial aid apps.

I know this is satire, but seriously, when I heard him explain how bad insurance companies are because he purchased liability and was upset when they didn’t pay a collision claim I knew he not the brightest bulb.
Actually, I think it would be the other way because it would weed out liberals. Ivy League campuses do not use IQ tests but essays in which you reveal your political leaning as a liberal. Notice that liberals end up in fields like Gender Studies that require no brains.
Ivy League schools tend to pick kids with very, very high SATs (a surrogate for IQ) as well as high academic achievement ( a surrogate for liberalism). I’m not sure about the writing requirement. I suppose a firm grasp of Ebonics can overcome low SATs and mediocre grades.
I listened to a song called “Burning Bridges”. It is the intro song for the movie Kelly’s Heros staring Clint Eastwood and is sung by the Mike Curb Congregation.
Listening to the lyrics in detail reminded me of Obama and I imaged 10 to 15 years down the road of how he is going to be viewed by history. I believe that he will look back a very bitter man and will be known as one of the worst Presidents ever. I almost feel sorry for him. He will become to the left what Nixon is to the right. Little more than a caricature of incompetence, Peter Principle, and unbridled power grabbing.
