As for Mary Magdalene visiting Tiberius, it is a nice story, and Tiberius did have a passing familiarity with prostitutes, but only with the male variety...

As much as I enjoy reading early Christian popular literature and the stories about martyrs, you have to take these stories as fictional. I am not opposed to fiction and fantasy, for they can have a powerful affect upon people. Some of these stories are built upon an ounce of truth. They tell us about the piety of the people that created them.

Were there not any Biblical sources you could use to chastise people? This obviously superstitious Easter legend holds about as much spiritual water as the tale of King Aurthur & the Quest for the Holy Grail.
