With all the differences that have appeared in our society it is likely that some of them or in fact irreconcilable. I will never be in favor of redistribution of the wealth and I suspect my liberal counterpart cannot bear ceasing to try and control me. On these things I think that we will never come to a meeting of the minds. To that I say so be it. You go your way and I will go mine. As it is there are more conservatives in America than there are liberals. If you looked at the most liberal states you would essential have the northeast, Chicago (not all of Illinois is communist), Wisconsin, and California. These total a dozen far left leaning states including the District of Columbia.

I use to believe Canada would break up.
A this point I fear the U.S. will.
Well, some swapping would be necessary I imagine
But seriously, what would be done with the lefties in the red states. I say swap them for the conservatives in the blue states.
The state I live in, WA, is viewed s a liberal state, but it is really only liberal in about 4 or 5 counties. I used to have a link to an article on Wikipedia with a map of the gubernatorial results but it's since been scrubbed.
You want to see bias at Wikpedia? check out this link:

The only links on the Washington page are to "progressive" and democrat websites including the WA state democrat party...but not the republican.
Anyway, the point being, give the liberals CA and OR but it'd be handy to have a port to the Pacific, so move the libs out of Seattle and give them the conservative areas in CA and OR as an offset. Let them have NV too, if they want it. Organized crime is more a democrat thing anyway.
And I pray it doesn’t come to extra holes:)
Imagine how loud they will be when they find out the new rule is: make your own way or starve. . .
“Secession or Expatriation?”
Neither. What’s needed, at the appropriate moment, is a constitutional convention.
38 conservative states will dictate terms to the 12 liberal states.
Highest on my agenda would be federal initiative and referendum. When a bribed and insane Congress passes an atrocity like Obamacare, an aroused populace needs the right to put it on the ballot and overturn it. In Switzerland it takes 100,000 signatures; extrapolating by population you’d want to require 4,000,000 signatures here in the USA to get something on the November ballot. The Swiss carefully studied our great achievements of 1787 and then improved on them. Let’s learn from their experience!
Another Swiss idea I like is a plural executive. Instead of having a full-scale revolution every 4 years like we do, they have a Federal Council of 7 executives that changes only slowly over time. While a single President is undoubtedly best if the person happens to be George Washington, getting stuck with a Marxist Muslim in total control for 4 years is too great a risk to take. Let’s never do it again!
I was thinking we could push a few over. . . .
Link doesn’t work. If it’s wikipedia you can put anything on there you want.
Neither, bud. Any one who doesn’t stay and fight for their God-given rights ain’t worth shit.
