There were busloads of 70 year old Republican ladies coming down to rally and work on the recount. And the democrats portrayed them as raging radicals – some in their walkers – who were charging forward to disrupt the political process.

DH: Well listen, I didn’t see what old McCain said on TV, and I’ve been too busy to follow he and JD’s race. They are both friends and both campaigned for me, so I’m not choosing up in that race, as you know.

Pissant, I'm curious, what did you think of this statement by him?

Well, you tell me. His answers, and the convenience of loing phone contact at a vital moment gave me that impression. I am also disappointed that he is not endorsing J.D.. I think this man, if he hasn’t lost his nerve, should appear at Tea Party rallies to stay in the public eye. He had the calling once. Right now the voters yearn to hear his message. Other than Sarah Palin, who the Demonrats would massacre, who else is there? Just RINOs.

It wasn’t convenient. It was inconvenient.

But I don’t see an eggshell word in anything. I’ve never heard the guy tiptoe around anything. He won’t make an endorsement in that race because both guys have campaigned for him personally. Beats the hell out of choosing Mccain though.
