A. It’s April Fools Day
B. Listen to the clip before you have a bird.

Juan Williams: 'Don't Tread on Me' Flags are 'Timothy McVeigh' Imagery

On Monday's O'Reilly Factor on Fox News, NPR news analyst Juan Williams furthered the left's talking point about the tea party's supposed connection to militias, and even went so far to claim that the Gadsden or "Don't Tread on Me" flags used by the conservative grassroots movement is "the same imagery that was on Timothy McVeigh"

I don’t know why it was so hard to see the sarcasm in it.

They were just talking about the left-wing media abuse of all obama opponents, fer cryin out loud.

From The Raw Story:

Sean Hannity broadcast his national talk show from KSL studios Wednesday.

He told a small gathering before the show that the Tea Party movement is legitimate and will withstand mounting attacks from its opponents on the left.

"We've got veterans, we've got stay-at-home moms, people who really don't like the direction of the country. They're speaking out and they've been compared to terrorists, Tim McVeigh-wannabes. They've been called un-American. They've been called every name in the book. Now, the latest attack is that these people are violent," he said.

So, Hannity was almost definitely using sarcasm when he referred to his audience as "McVeigh-wannabes."

He wasn’t calling the conservative movement “Tim McVeigh wannabes” he was saying that was how the libs and msm see the conservative movement.

Sean needs to EXPLAIN his comments. I will write him, and if there is a really good excuse (not one I can see at this time) his comments are unacceptable. Is he trying to end his career?

No it isn’t. DId you bother to listen to the clip or do you just believe the crap someone writes.

Perhaps you are unaware but the left (Pelosi, Reid and Obama and others) have referred to conservatives as Tim McVeigh wanna bes. If you cannot distinguish sarcasm from his tone of voice then I suggest you need a new set of listening skills.

It’s not a head scratcher. It was a sarcastic stab at how the other side perceives us. They are just trying to frame this as some kind of “gotcha” statement.

dumbasses the last part was sarcasm in response to the many complaints of violence and race baiting, which I have yet to see so I can say “Shame on you and get away from us. We want no part of your hateful personality”.

I have had friends, all week, questioning what is going with the violence. I have asked them to point specific incidences, as I am a news junkie and somehow missed them.

I then informed they are being programmed by the news and in fact there are none or you would see the film at 11.

What Bill Clinton did a Waco was an example of a government out of control. The Obama Beast is out of control and the reaction must be every bit as strident a response.

The first Tea Party was directed at "taxation without representationn". Our Revolution, the French and subsequent revolutions to free mankind from suppression were violent. Just ask Bill Ayers about "killing" in the name of Freedom!

This is in response to Juan Williams and his idiot statement that McVeigh used the same Gadsden flag that the Tea Party uses.
