Ben Lange is a rising conservative candidate in Iowa's 1st Congressional District. Ben is seeking the Republican nomination to defeat the liberal Democrat incumbent, Bruce Braley, in the 2010 midterm elections.

Ben Lange was born and raised in Waterloo,IA in 1979.
He graduated from East Buchanan High School and went on to play college baseball at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. After college, he earned his law degree from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, while working as a legislative aide for U.S. Representative John Kline (R-MN). Following law school, he served as Kline’s top policy advisor on Capitol Hill for issues involving, among other things, U.S. national security and agriculture. He moved back home to the District in 2007 to raise a family and to practice law. Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly (Dolan), and his two beautiful daughters, Addison (2 years old) and Emelia (1 years old). In his free time, he enjoys golfing at the Buffalo Creek Country Club and maintaining his 10 acres of timber by hand.
