Just in case there was anyone left living that still believed the Administration's claims of jobs "saved or created" by the so-called "stimulus"...the Congressional Budget Office admitted earlier this month that it's calculations were, well, useless...

The cold CBO Numbers on the stimulus are analogous to Neo-Marxism; the theory, not any actual events disproving said theory, are what matters.

It doesn’t matter, the worse the numbers are, the better it is for the socialists. The bill was purposely designed TO fail. Why?-—When the math fails and insurance companies boost rates, Obama will be “forced” to take them over and convert to “single payer”. Then pharma and med devices become part of the problem, or some other free market factor, and Obama is “forced” to institute government run health care, under control of the Surgeon General, via the new “Ready Reserve” powers in the health care bill.

Strange thing to put in the health bill, wasn’t it. Under the Ready Reserve, the President can appoint anyone and order them into service in an emergency.

The CBO doesn't actually count jobs created. Instead, it uses models that assume that putting taxpayer money into the system results in additional demand, additional spending, and, consequently, additional jobs. Before the stimulus passed, it used these models to predict that the stimulus would create jobs. And now, in analyzing its effects, it's using those same models to estimate that it has created jobs. But because the CBO relies on slightly updated versions of the same, original models throughout the process, it wouldn't necessarily detect the fact that the stimulus didn't work if that were the case.
There's another term for this, it's called GARBAGE-IN/GARBAGE-OUT, aka GIGO

Under the Ready Reserve, the President can appoint anyone and order them into service in an emergency. There's a word for such an 'anyone'...what is it...oh damn it's right at the tip of my tongue...yea, that's right:
"Slave".
