As the late comedian Rodney Dangerfield said in the movie “Back to School”, “if you want to look thin, you hang out with fat people”. The political adaptation of this famous line might go something like this, “if you want to look successful, make sure you are compared to an utter failure”. Well it turns out Rush Limbaugh may not be the only one rooting for a failed Obama presidency. There may be others who secretly rejoice in Obama’s failures if for no other reason than it makes them look better by comparison. Bill Clinton would top the list of course. He has always been obsessed with his own legacy and has worked diligently since leaving office to secure his own place in history. It seems Obama may just boost Clinton’s standing more than he ever could on his own.

There is a critical fat to thin people ratio. If the chubbie to skinny ration is too high it just makes the chubbies look bigger and the skinnies smaller.
