That's what we will be doing SURVIVING. And any thing I can grow,is one less thing I have to buy and put tax dollars into gov'ts coffers. Started my own seeds, got the bush green bean seeds from the feed store for $2.60 lb, and will eat them all summer and put up the excess in the freezer. Did 14 qts last year, about 20 of tomatoes, and juice. Hope for more this year, my berries should start producing. Ordered them from Gurney's spent $50, got $25 off and most were 2 for 1 items.. I hid the green beans behind the azelas out front,...we have a steep hill for a backyard, and home owners a$$ won't let you put veggies out front. I fooled them last year and am doing so again this year. :)
