Almost all of FDR's New Deal taxation was on the backs of the poor, all the while claiming he was helping the poor.

Try 12.4% because it will be considered self-employed income. Currently this tax is split between the employee and employer 50/50. The SSI rate is 10.8% and the Disibility portion is 1.8%. Most landlords will simply round it up to a 15% increase.
