In front of a friendly crowd in Iowa on Thursday, President Barack Obama gave a speech that was billed as the first of many meant to sell Obamacare to voters But instead of a president confidently explaining his policies, the audience saw an arrogant and immature hyper-partisan attacking his political opposition and the majority of Americans who agree with them on this issue.

Racist undertones of his comment aside, Dan Rather's recent observation that President Obama "couldn't sell watermelons if you gave him the state troopers to flag down the traffic" is probably the most accurate assessment the disgraced former anchorman has made in decades.

Has anyone noticed that while making his Obamacare speeches, Obama morphs into Rev. Wright? He adopts the same rhythms, sneering, scolding and cynicism all while YELLING at the crowd.
So very presidential/sarc.
(I made this remark on another thread (about Rev. Wright) about 2 minutes ago — I think it fits this thread better.)

Jeepers!
IF Obamacare is such a wonderful and marvelous idea, then why on earth does the little Marxist bastard “feel” like he needs to sell it?

First of all he’s on a gloating tour.
Second of all, he’s dropping of cash to his peeps to get the votes lined up for November.

He adopts the same rhythms, sneering, scolding and cynicism all while YELLING at the crowd. Hitler ... Mussolini ... Castro ...
They all speak that way.
I used to listen to Fidel ranting on "Radio Habana Cuba", on short-wave. I didn't understand the Spanish, but there was no mistaking the cadences and the tone of voice.

Thank you all for posting. I come here to find a little sanity. I think “Our Dear Leader” is a great divider not a uniter. If this were Bush, Clinton, or anyone else who has ever SERVED our country as President, he wouldn't be gloating. He would be reaching out a hand to those who disagreed (think Abe Lincoln). His speeches should be more conciliatory. Our Dear Leader is a very small man. Also, think about where the country was before the election, we are now more divided than ever. The rhetoric is much angrier. Our dear leader is seeking to divided from our allies (Israel, UK) while gaining approval from Castro, Chavez, the leaders of Hamas. Just some observations.

have you noticed how many white folks, many of them young folks, are hypnotized by this stuff?
Guess this mass hypnosis/psychosis has worked throughout history, so why should America be any different

"Go for it" and see how well they fare with voters. "Be my guest," the Campaigner-in-Chief said in his prepared remarks. "I welcome that fight." Not long ago, this Chicago thug said if they bring knives, he'd bring guns.
