The founders had no recourse via the election booth - we do - thanks to the founders.

Tyrants elected by majority are still tyrants.

When half of the country is on the dole and pay no taxes, elections are meaningless. They will keep voting themselves more welfare at the expense of the productive class. We will end up with a few super rich elite, who can manipulate the judicial system with money, afford any penalty put upon things that the elite don't want the populace to have. (permits, licenses, fees, punitive taxes). When all else fails politicians will just keep lying to get elected. Obama ran as a moderate to trick enough white people to vote for him, the media went along for the ride and would do so again. You can vote all you want, it wont change a thing. Were on downward spiral. We are a nation divided into mainly two diametrically opposed viewpoints. The only solution I can fathom is the freedom loving/conservative part of the country break off from the rest, write a new constitution with said right so incredibly spelled out that there can be no legal loopholes. Judges will be elected so that they will have accountability. Unfortunately none of this will happen, we will just muddle through as usual.

(To err is human, to really foul things up takes a Democrat, don't expect the GOP to have the answer!)
