The Constitution is lost. I have no hope that the Republicans are going to cede power once it is theirs. Half the bastards calling themselves Republicans were shaking and stomping their feet wanting to sign on to this healthcare bill. They saw the writing on the wall and faked a spine. I would bet everything I love that these idiots are going to reach across the aisle and consort with the enemy on Cap and Tax and Immigration. We need a clean sweep. Maybe even chaining the doors shut during a joint session and setting the place ablaze if we could get away with it.

The Constitution is lost. I hope you are wrong.
But if you are right, then the Constitution was lost because most Americans have rejected the ideas and habits of liberty that it represents. And if that is the case, then no military coup d'etat will restore it. (Besides, how many of Obama's generals would you trust to lead such a coup?)
