Gentlemen, may i have a word

As we all know, the President of the United States just signed a sweeping health care overhaul bill. Despite the polling clearly showing the majority of the public did not favor this bill, the democratic majority passed the bill with a slide of hand. Tax payers who were both for and against the bill hit the streets letting their voices be heard. Regardless of the poll numbers, the bill passed, and the majority party drank champagne.

As we all heard today, politicians who voted for this bill were threatened with physical violence. Some of their offices were vandalized. Tensions are high in this country. This tension, this anger; this frustration is part of the plan. This feeling in the gut has been engineered in a great room, of some progressive puppet master probably one hundred years ago.

I’d like a metaphorical gentlemen’s handshake, and a cyber promise. The promise; let us unclench our fists, and self the pitchforks, and instead take a step back and organize. Let us promise to ourselves, we will not show up on youtube.com as the poster child for the radical right. Let us promise ourselves, we will not commit stupid petty mistakes, and deliver the proverbial fodder for those waiting with their cameras. Let us promise ourselves that we will fight every day to “change it back “, but wont get caught with the smoking lamp lit on night patrol.

Let us remember that there is a major media machine just waiting for a slip up from the right. And let us remember that any slip up they capture will be in opposition political ads leading up the crucial 2010 elections. Let us remember, we are the party of Ronald Reagan, Gentlemen and Ladies of class and respect.

I loved it so much that I asked for it for my birthday and my parents bought it for me :) Now I can stop borrowing it from the library. LOL

It does have some flaws. If you didn’t know anything about the US and watched that series, you would not know that there were any Churches in the US at that time. It also attempts to make the men look so flawed that you do start questioning if we should ever have done what we did.

I do not think we are at that point sir. Maybe we will be one day, I certainly hope not; but if that day comes i promise to keep my powder dry and my bayonet sharpened.

I refuse to sink to the pond scum level of throwing slurs, or bricks so i can be used as propaganda for the left.

Just how much liberty must be taken at the point of a gun until it's that time? I didn't say anything about brick throwing or slurs. I'm talking about serious solutions to a serious problem.

Im talking about not giving the left propaganda by indulging in stupid immature thuggery. That is the point of my op/ed. I can not believe how misconstrued the anger on our side is. All i said was lets make a promise not to make mistakes and end up as propaganda for the left going into the 2010 elections. In response to my op/ed, i have been cannibalized by my fellow party members. Shocking.

I seriously doubt that he received the first one. If he did, which again, I doubt, it was from his gang.

I have been through an audit as well, but there was no liberty taken at gunpoint.

What are you a lawyer? What do you think would have happened if I resisted? The gun in the face (or actually getting shot) is the end game with government force. It always will be. Now, when I’m faced with a gun in my face when I’ve not perpetrated force or fraud is just wrong. It a usurpation of liberty and freedom.
