The bill also gives the insurance companies an additional 4 years of denying adults coverage or dropping them due to previous conditions
And that’s the scary part. I’m of the oppinion the insurance companies will take this to mean they can drop anyone who they signed up with previous existing conditions.
For instance, Aetna took me knowing I had been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. (I’ve since gotten it under control with diet and exercise.) Now they will be able to drop me for four years. I’m sure people were signed up who had heart disease. They can be dropped. If that’s the way it reads.
Just another nail in the coffin of home building. And another way to destroy this nation.

“The $200,000/$250,000 trigger points are not indexed, so in a few years, many more people will have incomes above those trigger points.”
Democrats are skilled at boiling frogs. The is just like the AMT, originally crafted only to limit tax deductions to the “undeserving” rich. Each year, millions more middle-class families have subsequently found themselves ensnared in its clutches due to the lack of an inflation index.
