Well, one day we hear that the "boomers" caused all the troubles of the world, and then we see now that it is our charge to fix all the problems.

I'm very skeptical about all these "fort sumpter" articles and "revolution" related historical references. I think it's going to take some very drastic moves on the governments part to get even one American to stand up to them "revolutionary" style.

There's a lot of talk going around, but all in all I think Americans these days think they have "too much to lose" to risk any notable "revolutions" with the powers that be. It's ironic, because it should be those with the most to lose that are the most willing to fight.

Tyrants must be beaten back on a regular basis...like the kid in the school yard, one ass-whipping is usually not enough...he will just retreat, regroup, and try it again.

Well the 60's radicals are again polluting America with kooky ideas and slobbering over socialism...we had to put up with their "misbehavior" in the 60's, and now with their tyranny in the 2000's. They've been slowly, quietly, and methodically working on this day for 40 years...and we said it would never happen.

I remember back in the 50's when everyone was digging bomb shelters and practicing "duck and cover" in the schools, everyone was so afraid of the "bomb" that many gave up and said "what's the use". Their lament was, "why try, they're going to just drop the bomb and end it anyway, man."

To wit, my reply was..."What if they don't.?".

Yesterday's healtcare vote has created a similar "doomsday" scenario for America, as "destroyed" is "destroyed". It's a choice between getting fried by the bomb, or allowed to die by obama's death panels...at least the first one was quick and painless.

But, like the bomb threats of yore, maybe "obamacare" won't be allowed to happen...but it's going to take some brave souls to stop it...so far, I don't see any.

All hell should have broken loose in Washington last night when the vote was announced...but it didn't. That shows the left that the only thing we can do is watch FOX news and write cutsie little slogans on poster paper.

Over the years the left has got what they wanted via "civil disobedience", and we're losing our country by "civil milquetoastiness".

We made the threats, and then when the vote was announced, we just said "aw shucks" and went home...pathetic.

America will get only what it deserves, and it seems to be deserving of socialized medicine at this point.

Through the years Americans have looked at countries with dictators and said, "it sucks to be you"...now that WE have one, well, "it sucks to be US.".

But, obama did it...he took America without firing a single shot...not one. 60-million people unemployed, nearly bankrupt, and now socialism...doesn't take much more than that to be a complete DEFEAT of AMERICA by radicals.

Now I feel like that 60's novelty song, "They're coming to take me away, ha ha". And they probably will, because if anyone thinks the DC bunch is not going to use obamacare to control, they they are stuck on stupid...or is it "stuck on Stupak"?

I foresee more and more people losing their jobs as business evaluate what obamacare will do to them, and just shut the doors. And if you think obama is going to stop at healthcare, you're crazy. He'll be going after life insurance, car insurance, and even dental insurance next.

He has created the perfect storm...took over health and put the democrats in a situation where they have nothing to lose by voting on amnesty and cap'n'trade.

Are you kidding? I’ve already endured a couple of gloat comments from my liberal associates.

Every conservative knows that he won’t stop there.

I wouldn’t grant him ALL the credit. This Communist goal has been in motion for the last 30+yrs. in our public schools, media, and government.

It is those who say, “prove me wrong” who will help to kill any effort on the part of conservatives who are taking a pro-active course.

A little leavening leavens the whole lump. In this case, the leavening should be thrown out.
