Yes, Judith Anne, if we don’t have a man, if we were widowed or abandoned, it was entirely our fault.
It’s interesting that guys who purport to be conservative Americans and patriots have the same views on this matter as the Taliban.
Widows are not “voluntary” victims, nor are abused or abandoned spouses for that matter. But many women in our culture are still single because of their career choices, political philosophies, and/or sexual preference. The media routinely fails to address these traits just as they ignore the character issues of inner-city absentee fathers who serially impregnate poor girls and then move on.
