You can convince the Pope with your pocketbook.
If the church’s hierarchy sees large numbers of faithful Catholics withholding donations in protest of this- the Pope might well take action.

Excommunated would be great, but I would prefer to see several hours of whacks on the nuckles from an angry nun.

I have heard that the Catholic Church opposes abortion. Perhaps we will find out for sure?

So what if they’re excommunicated. What does that do to them? They’re Godless anyway.

Time to require more spine of local Bishops and Cardinals. Don’t expect Cardinal Mahony to expel local Catholic mayors and Hollywood’s cafeteria Catholics. We need to petition the Pope to remove liberal bishops and cardinals.

Someone should get the names of people like me who went to Catholic grade school & high school and left the church because they do not teach the parish what is right & wrong and stand against evil. There are so many Catholics who are pro-abortion, pro-gay.... and no one explains from the pulpit what is right & wrong. I know there are many ex-Catholics like myself, but the church is afraid of losing people and money, rather than worrying about people’s souls.

Notre Dame had Christians arrested for protesting abortion. Rome cares more about illegal aliens.

The Pope, et al, should excommunicate every, single one of them. Let's see if any of them has the nuggets to do it.

I sent a letter to my bishop. Maybe if they get enough letters . . .?? Long shot but at least you have gone on record.

Exactly. It is high time that democrats were held to account for their actions, and Pelosi has been abusing her putative relationship with the church for so long, and so badly, that she should be formally excommunicated now.

Actually the Catholics in the churches they attend should hold them accountable by blocking their way to the alter for communion and the priest should SPEAK up. It is murder they are condoning.

The Catholic Church is not a democracy (or a republic). If it were, everyone would vote to have their favorite sin made OK. Kind of like the United States.

As to Harry Reid, I don’t think the LDS would do anything. I read in an LDS publicaton that abortion is strongly advised against, but that believers should consult with their clergy to make their decision. (My eye doctor has LDS magazines and materials in the waiting room, and there was an article on it.)
