Just one question. What government programs have the Republicans ever terminated? For as long as I can remember their mantra has been slowing the rate of growth.

After three years of adjusting to the new taxes and just prior to receiving some benefit.
Won't be as easy as it looks, due to the growing number of moochers in this place.

It’s not that easy. Look at the bullet-proof majorities the Dems have, and how much trouble they had getting this mess passed. Repubs will have a much smaller majority (if they get a majority at all) and Dems will be able make trouble.
It will be very difficult to repeal this mess without a bullet proof majority, like 60 Repub Senators who will hold the line.

Mike Church hit the nail on the head when he said Progressives have been getting their way since 1913.

Not after the Democrats legalize 50-million illegals just in time for the November elections.

Which government plan was ever ended? Once in place it’ll destroy the nation.
Dems are going to bring in illegals, allow felons to votes (4 million of them) and do whatever it takes to stay in power. With massive layoffs and tanking economy Dems will be there promising handouts.

Step 1. Republicans regain majority control of House and Senate.
Step2. Elect a Republican President.
Step 3. Repeal Obamacare!
How many government programs did the GOP repeal when they controlled the House, Senate and Oval Office just a few years ago? Way too many Republicans have bought into Big Government too - they aren't quite as ambitious with their plans for government meddling, but they'll happily sacrifice free-market principles for a good spot at the feeding trough.
If free-market ideals - and I don't mean the BS lip service paid by way too many GOP blowhards - aren't welcome in the GOP, then it's time for the Tea Party to start fielding candidates.

I think repeal is a pipe dream given it has never happened for anything I can think of outside of Prohibition but this is going to require money to implement isn’t it? Don’t all spending bills originate in the House? Wouldn’t a simple majority there b able to control the spending for it? For example, where would the 17000 new IRS agents come from if the House doesn’t appropriate the funds to hire them?

Not to mention using ACORN (under new names, of course)...And YES, that is the PLAN.

This decision by Congress will have a deep impact. Democrat communists can all go to hell. If they want a fast-track come on over.

Slavery took a war, but repealing Prohibition took action at the Congressional level and 2/3s or 3/4s of the state legislatures to repeal Prohibition.
Nothing cannot be undone. It might not be easy. But it will get done.

I would rather elect a "veto proof" congress...and jam repeal down their throats....(uber long shot).....
...failing that.....get a majority in the House and starve the health care bill to death....just not appropriate any money to fund any part of the health care bill.
Zer0 and his merry band of gay blades will whine and bitch...and threaten to shut down the government...but what the hell...who cares,....given this bunch of criminals?
