Agree. The college degree is losing its cache and has largely become a fraud. College used to mean something. Then “everybody” started going to college and demanded easy courses and faux “studies” because they could not pass the rigorous courses. Ultimately college has simply become a place where people go to get their indoctrination and/or to avoid getting on with life. This is why we have to have health coverage for 26 year old “children.” TWENTY-SIX year old “children”!!!! So, if the system shrinks and access shrinks and we go to a system of hiring people on the basis of “can you do the job” rather than “do you have the degree” then that would be a good thing I think. Then maybe a college education will return to an academic pursuit instead of a ticket for a job interview.

Unfortunately, I have some in-laws that fit this mold— right out of a David Horowitz publication.
They’re good, young people, but are clueless. They know better than to debate me. If they were so much “smarter” than me they would have no problem putting me in my place.
It’s not that hard to beat someone who’s core political philosophy is founded on lies.
