Shiff, and Paul, and other conservatives of the old school are constitutionalists first, who believe that wars should be declared by Congress. They also suggest that killing civilians in foreign countries might just contribute to building the ranks of terrorists determined to do us harm.
You might disagree with it, but this mindset is hardly traitorous.
