Schoolhouse Rock: How a Bill Becomes a Law

Note that it is a difficult process, full of many pitfalls. It is supposed to be this way. This means that the system is working, not that the system is broken.

Ironically, Sam’s had the Election Collection Shool House Rock on sale last year. I bought a copy. It has “No More Kings”, “The Preamble,” “I’m Just a Bill,” Tyrannosaurus Debt” and many more songs on it. I am a teacher and wanted to have it on hand. I knew when I was buying it, that I would have many opportunities to talk about what our Gov’t and President would be doing to us. Best $10 I have spent for my class!

If the House reports out the slaughter rule, and the House approves of the rule, then the bill shall have been passed.

That satisfies the Constitution as quoted above.
