Need a reminder? View this video from after Obama's State of Disunion Address in January and a different song was being sung than what you're hearing on Capitol Hill today.

Sen. Dick Turbin:

"Barack Obama is a man that I've known for a long, long time. He is not a person in search of an identity. He knows who he is and what he stands for and last night I think his firm control of the challenges facing America is what the American people want to hear."

Sen. Patty "Osama Mama" Murray:

"The President set the exact right tone last night....He's focused us on right where we need to be, on the economy, creating jobs here at home."

Last, but not least, the Brooklyn ambulance chaser, UpChuck Schumer:

"The President gets it, so do we. The President said that jobs is the most important issue for us in 2010, and we couldn't agree more. In fact, the three top issues on our agenda this year, are jobs, jobs....and jobs."

So, what happened? Has every able bodied American been able to find a good job with an adequate income to provide for their family in the last month? No. Thirty six thousand jobs were lost in February, up from 20,000 in January, while "Dingy" Harry Reid is dancing in the isles of Capitol Hill in celebration.

What a stupid question. If we can get free health care, social security, unlimited unemployment compensation and public housing, why would we want jobs?

The way things are going, the corporate farms will be the next target of big government. After all, food is more important than health care! The government has to manage that as well!

He is creating jobs...government and for the unions. That is all that matters to these Marxists.

Obama is trying to use the Cloward-Piven strategy to turn the USA into a socialist state--but Americans aren't buying it!

YES! Human beings need food, clothing, and shelter and the health care they now enjoy to stay alive. Because every case is different, each individual or family needs the freedom to decide what and how much they need at any given time. When government is making the decision as to what, when, why, how, and how much, people who do not toe the party line will perish. We will have a nation of Lords and Serfs. The bottom line for the push on health care, and, as you say, food will be next, is that the government wants life and death control over the population. Nothing else makes sense.

His jobs program is working. He plan is to “equalize” the population by eliminating the middle class in the private sector through economic destruction and ruinous taxation. He and other elites will rule the masses. Selection for admission to the ranks of the elites will be a political process where the politically correct are eligible and those who voice other points of view will remain serfs.

Jobs jobs jobs? Oh that... That was just obama, lying again. It really is about socialism socialism socialism. That is their focus - long term conversion of the United States into a socialist society. They apparently don't care what happens to them in the next election cycle or two. They seem to think it will be too difficult for the GOP to reverse if they can just ram this through via any means necessary - Constitutional or not.

Do you really expect a Democrat to do anything to really help the economy without a self interest payout?

They don’t know how or even care anymore!

It is time for good leaders to help restore our country to the values established by our founders.
