You’re right about the Obama skits. It’s almost beyond belief how bad they are. I wonder if they do it deliberately so as to avoid actually mocking Obama. I mean, a clever writer could skewer Obama on his hypocrisy.

During the 2008 campaign, Fred Armisen did a perfect Obama impersonation with the voice and head movements and speech pattern. There was a skit of him as Obama versus Hillary in a town hall meeting.

Now that Obama has been elected, it's obvious that he's deliberately trying his best to do a bad impersonation of Obama.

I hope he fades off into obscurity like so many other lousy SNL cast members over the years.
