To make up for the years that Bush was in bed by 10:00PM and rarely held State Dinners.I was talking with some folks in a bar in Georgetown back in '91 - the consensus was they hoped Clinton won the upcoming election because the Reagan/Bush era had become so boring, socially speaking. There just wasn't enough partying going on.
