Glenn Beck Apologizes to His Audience; Admits He Wasted an Hour of Their Time for the First Time

Glenn Beck, in a stunning and unprecedented occasion on his TV show, has apologized to his audience, admitting he wasted an hour of their time for the very first time. The apology occurred near the end of Beck's much-hyped interview with disgraced and potentially sexually deviant, former Democrat Congressman Eric Massa of NY. Billed by Beck only a day ago as an interview where Massa may just expose verifiable corruption in the federal government and the Obama Administration with regards to their apparent retaliation for his position on the health care vote, viewers were led to believe that Massa's interview would actually, you know, expose corruption. Instead, Beck viewers were subjected to a torturous hour where Massa spoke only in disappointing generalities, evaded getting specific on actual examples of the Obama Administration retaliating against him, and generally had the whole show to himself to make a monologue.

He only wasted 20 minutes of my time. That's about all I watched before I turned it off.

Massa is insane.

Glenn Beck, in a stunning and unprecedented occasion on his TV show, has apologized to his audience, admitting he wasted an hour of their time for the very first time.

And he was correct. It looked like he was giving Massa an opportunity to expose the corruption in the democrat party and Massa did nothing but equivocate.

The guy is a typical liberal loon...insane and dirty.

What is it with clowns like Beck? Are they leftist plants?
To be honest, I have never seen him on TV.
I do remember when he was on the radio 15 years ago, but I never paid much attention to him. He seemed a bit kooky then.
I assume that he is no better then O’zero, or Hannity on FOX.

I have been a Rush fan since the mid 80s, and now a Rush 24/7 member.
FOX would rock if they had Rush.

Beck had hoped that Massa would feed the "they're all corrupt"-meme that he's been pushing for the last few months. Instead, Massa demonstrated why nobody in his own party fought to save his worthless political hide.

The funniest part of the interview came when Massa claimed that everything would be fixed if Congress passed "campaign finance reform." Translation: "My campaign contributions have dried up!"

While Rush may be the top of the heap and his awakened a great many people, Beck has gotten people to organize and take action. He has not gotten his tremendous ratings because of shows like the last one. He took a gamble, which I do not consider to be a bad thing. The payoff would have been worth it. He settled the issue for a lot of people who have been wondering.

Then don't cast judgment.

“Then don’t cast judgment.”

I did not cast ANY judgement.
I was only asking.

Massa is insane.

Actually I found Massa quite compelling.

I watched the rebroadcast this morning and I found him quite believable.

I like Beck was a bit disappointed that he did not spill some of the dirt on the Democrats. But I can understand why he did not; he just wanted to give his side of the story and get on with his life. He said that at the beginning of the interview. If he did turn on the Dims he would never have another minute of peace in his life. He knows that.

But the story about Rom Emanuel in the shower I thought rang true (Rush has frequently described Rom as Obama’s enforcer).

I also think that the reason that the Dims have turned on Massa is that he was against the Health Care bill and he was not running for reelection. This made him a perfect man to make an example of.

If you don’t pull the party line here is what you can expect. We Will Destroy YOU.

Excellent observance. I fully agree that Glenn was hoping it would turn out to be something like the Breitbart shows when the corruption of ACORN was revealed. Glenn has been doing a lot that is good, insofar as educating people of history and current politics. This was just one “at bat” where he struck out because Massa is a liberal worm who only wants to defend himself as being moral.

Glenn took a bet and lost. No shame in that and kudo’s to him for apologizing for it.

Massa had an opportunity to blow the lid of something bigger than him and blew it. America has passed judgment, they guy has a mouth and a few words, that’s all.

I doubt that his contributions had dried up before he announced his retirement. But I do think it is a rather naïve idea for a seasoned politician.

But then he is not alone in this idea. After all our latest Repub Presidential candidate shared this notion.

You’ve never watched Beck, but you call him a “clown” ? Your comment makes so little sense that you’re coming across as a democrat.

I didn’t think it was that bad. We all know that Washington is corrupt as hell, there’s not much more Massa could say about it. I think Obama made an example out of him to the other Democrats that are kind of on our side on this health care bill at least. the message was clear, get on board the bus or get thrown underneath it.
