I too got the Census letter informing me that I would be getting a Census letter next week. The waste and futility of participating, as well as the perversion of the constitutional purpose of the Census has me down, but Scott Johnson over at Power Line and Mark Krikorian over at The Corner have a bright idea:

It's a truthful answer but at the same time is a way for ordinary citizens to express their rejection of unconstitutional racial classification schemes. In fact, "American" was the plurality ancestry selection for respondents to the 2000 census in four states and several hundred counties.

You answer white you automatically eliminate yourself from a whole bushel basket of gooberment goodies (which is probably a good thing).
Too bad it doesn't eliminate our obligation to pay for them.
I will probably say I’m black.

Got the letter too. All they need to know is how many people live in this house. That’s it. And I’m not sure they need to know that. Like they don’t already from the income tax forms.
Government spends millions of OUR dollars sending us a letter to tell us they will be sending us a letter in a couple of weeks.. They think we are stupid.

If they send a form here, they are getting the number of people living here and our ages. If someone comes knocking, they are going be given the same information.

I can’t think of a good reason why not.
If Hawaii's Dept. of Health can say African is a race then we can say American is. If they can also say that the usurper is a "natural born American citizen" (whatever that means), then I think that's what we all should put that.
There are men who sacrifice none of their original equipment but are “classified” as female when they go to the restroom and apply for employment.
It’s important that you identify yourself however you feel the most content.
Because the law only provides for ENUMERATION!
As in the last 5 census forms that I have filled out the only answer they get is 2 homosapians!
The balance of the form is answered in red ink, NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!
The First US Census in 1790 only had the name of the head of household, ages were grouped by gender, and number of slaves.
I got a letter from CHASE like this telling me to look out for the NEXT letter which will contain important changes to existing policies.
And when I got a stimulus check some years back, there was a letter sent out saying "a check is coming".
And yes, it is a waste of money and paper.
This census isn’t even distinguishing between citizen, legal resident, and illegal resident. If you are here, count some numbers.
When Clinton was President in 2000, they wanted to estimate the “undercounted” and add that to the totals.
The Rats don’t care about law. They care about power and expanding the socialist payouts of the state.
I wouldn’t have answered it then!
If the government manages to get people completely dependent on it we’ll be saying that we’re all slaves on that form.
