Keith Olbermann will not host his own show, but has taken time from taking care of his father for a little blog war. Now, why would an already-imploding blowhard pick an immature fight with a popular young sports columnist? Nobody wants try to get inside the head of the increasingly unstable Keith, but going after Bill Simmons seems like another sign that his fragile emotional state is nearing Armageddon and why NBC execs are increasingly worried.
Last week, The Sports Guy wrote a column arguing that Tiger Woods comeback on the golf course would be more difficult than Ali returning to boxing after avoiding the Vietnam draft. That might be dumb, but the guy is paid to give provocative opinions on sports-related topics. Whats the big deal? Its called free speech.

gotta give the Olberdork this much credit though, he does describe himself nicely:
"I am again left to marvel how somebody can rise to a fairly prominent media position with no discernible insight or talent, save for an apparent ability to mix up a vast bowl of word salad very quickly."
ooops, hold on, you mean that was NOT the Olberdork's mini-autobiography?

You gotta watch that clip of Olbermann. I believe by the end of May, he’s going to get canned from MSNBC and he’s going to do something tragic. The guy clearly isn’t playing with a full deck of cards.

” blowhard pick”....I think the writer has this mispelled...:)

I believe by the end of May, hes going to get canned from MSNBC and hes going to do something tragic. A thought comes to mind, but it's too crude, even when Olberdork is concerned.

They should be worried. Keith is about to blow up big time. I can hear Bach’s Toccata & Fugue in D minor thundering in the background now as Keith sprays bullets of his AK47 in the studio while yelling that each of his victims are the “worst person in the world”.
I’d suggest an increase in security now.

but has taken time from taking care of his father for a little blog warI'll bet his dismal rating have finally caught up to him. "Taking a break to spend time with the family" has always been kind of another way of saying, 'left in lieu of being fired".

Somehow we have to get Oberdick off that NFL football
panel. I shut the sound off when Oberdick is on. He adds NOTHING to the panel.

If his vision is so bad he can’t drive and his personality is so bad he can’t get to first base with women, I think he’s already reached tragedy. Considering all his moolah, how much more tragic can it get?

Come on, I know youre thinking hell pull a Budd Dwyer. One can only hope !!!
Personally, I'd like to see him pull out a noose, toss the end over a lighting support, leap up on his desk, pull it tight and take a flying leap while screaming "I'm the worst person of the week"
Of course on live TV
