Keith Olbermann will not host his own show, but has taken time from taking care of his father for a little blog war. Now, why would an already-imploding blowhard pick an immature fight with a popular young sports columnist? Nobody wants try to get inside the head of the increasingly unstable Keith, but going after Bill Simmons seems like another sign that his fragile emotional state is nearing Armageddon and why NBC execs are increasingly worried.
Last week, The Sports Guy wrote a column arguing that Tiger Woods comeback on the golf course would be more difficult than Ali returning to boxing after avoiding the Vietnam draft. That might be dumb, but the guy is paid to give provocative opinions on sports-related topics. Whats the big deal? Its called free speech.

I believe that the “football guys” are really emarrassed
to death by Oberdick. I saw the look on ones face last year
that I had to laugh at. The look said: “What the hell is that dork talking about?”
I had the same thought about Olbermann. I was pretty upset over his description of his dad’s horrific illness. As far out there as KO is that’s got to be pushing him over the edge. Who would be surprised if we heard tomorrow that he’d stepped in front of a train? That’s the impression he gives me.
You have one unique home page! So who is the woman with Hillary?
February saw ratings plunge beneath last year’s by 43% among 25-54 viewers and 29% in total viewership.
At the same time, FOX News continues its “mammoth growth.” Olbermann’s envy of all things FOX is palpable when he does things like scream, “I loathe FOX” or allege that FOX News President Roger Ailes deliberately attempts to “[inspire] fear” in people and is out to get him.

when NBC executives and others seek to remind him of life’s little burdens (you can’t verbally abuse women in the office, you can’t verbally abuse women out of the office, etc.) he sometimes hides under his desk
name the 50-year-old man who hasn’t hidden in the bathtub when an employer — in this case, NBC — sends a limousine to take him to work.
Simmons then Tweeted in response: KO, please know the feeling is mutual. Youre my worst case scenario for my career in 12 yrs: a pious, unlikable blowhard who lives alone.

Olbermanns Federal Budget Debt Blunder
2010 February 27

MSNBCs Countdown show host, Keith Olbermann, recently claimed that todays federal budget debt is far less than it was throughout the Reagan administration. He also said it is about the same as it was in 1970. Is he right? Tonights countdown:
10) What is a federal budget debt? No researcher, intern or night security guard told him that there is no such thing? No one fact checked him before he went on-air? Add this to the ever-growing catalog of Olbermanns greatest hits kept by the indispensable NewsBusters.org.
Thanks, RT. That's Huma Abedin, aide to HRC, lurking in the background and whispering pleasantries in her ear.
Is she considered more than an aide?
I have to admit, Olbermann’s career circling the toilet makes fascinating watching. The idiots who decided to pay him $7.5 million per year must be desperately trying to figure out a way to get rid of him.
Rumors during the campaign said so.
Olbermann will be a superstar in the Decline of Western Civilization Hall of Fame.
