No indictment is necessary in order to begin a criminal INVESTIGATION for forgery/fraud in conjunction with posting an alleged fake COLB on the internet on Obama’s “Fight the Smears” web site. The Grand Jury would investigate whether or not a crime was committed by examining both the internet posted COLB and the original, vault copy, long form Certificate of Live Birth.
Prosecuting attorneys go on these types of legal “fishing expeditions” quite often. If no forgery or fraud is uncovered, then the Grand Jury does not return an indictment and the issue is resolved for good. However if forgery or fraud IS uncovered, expect a bill of impeachment and a US Senate trial faster than you can say “Rod Blagojevich.”
I agree there’s a strong case here, however I’m not seeing a compelling reason to assume the Hawaiian AG would be willing to conduct either a criminal investigation or ‘fishing expedition.’
