Disgusted that Partisan Politics Is Going On
The American Thinker ^ | March 06, 2010 | Peter Wilson

Democrats are always bemoaning the lack of bipartisanship in Washington. Their fundraising appeals to potential donors, however, where they might feel among friends, demonstrate a hyper-partisan nastiness at odds with their public speechification. Consider the e-mail sent by Sen. John Kerry last week, which bore a single-word subject line: "Disgusted." The e-mail begins:

"It disgusts me every time I see it. As Democrats work with President Obama to dig us out of a deep hole and build our country up, right-wing Republicans have an entirely different goal: Force his failure."

To paraphrase: Our country's big problems require bipartisan solutions. Bipartisanship fails because Republicans don't respect their Democrat colleagues.

That's right senator Kerry. After all the lies, backroom deals, and crap you're party promotes why should anyone respect you, much less republican's.

Just to make it clear again, NO!

Kerry has become impotent since he lost the election and Teddy died. Kerry is now taking the Al Gore route to notoriety - attack and fear monger. He’s playing to the nutcase left base to try to find relevancy again.

When the basic premise or plans of your opposition are clearly harmful, why on earth should you cooperate and find “common ground”?

Say, for example you are thrown in jail, and your new cellmate, “Bubba” has a basic premise and plan that he is going to have sex with you. Do you find “common ground” with him if that common ground still includes “Jail Sex With Bubba”?

In the case at hand, “bipartisanship” that still has a basic premise and planned result of socialized government run healthcare, is stupidity.

The ‘Rats will continue with that sort of illogic as long as the LSM lets them get away with it.

If those media devils ever start calling a spade a spade and cut out the “fair and balanced” BS, then things might become a little more sensible. But I’m not holding my breath. Liberal lies and media cover has become too ingrained in the DC “culture.”

Same ol’ same ol’.

To a Dimocrat, “bipartisanship” simply means “roll over, take it up the arse, and do what we WANT you to do”.

Too bad that far too many are now aware of their garbage. FNC, the Internet (FR, blogs, etc.), and talk radio have all put huge spotlights on their idiotic shenanigans and backroom dealings, always excluding their Republican counterparts from such negotiations and bill creation processes.

Agreed...they live in their own echo chamber, I think they actually believe the stuff they write/report, which is even more disturbing.

LSM...I keep forgetting that one...:)
