Sorry man but I just don’t see it happening. Duncan’s a good man but the MSM would make him look like Attila The Hun.

He’s got my vote, too, if he runs.

Maybe Hunter can top one percent of the vote this time around.

Defiantly who I voted for in the ‘08 primary. He’s ‘The Right Stuff”.

Hunter's great on the positions (except for a bit of a protectionist streak on trade, but that's a minor quibble), but what, if anything, has he done in the last two years to make himself electable?

Has he put together any type of national-level organization? Has he been able to raise a warchest? Why hasn't he considered running for a statewide office (both CA Senate and Governor races are this year, and both appear to be trending toward "moderate" GOP nominees -- if Hunter's "the man", why doesn't he step in and win one of these races)?

This isn't debate class where the person with the best arguments wins. This is about winning elections. What is Hunter's game plan for winning the election, and how is it different from 2008? If there isn't a significant change, then what is the purpose getting your hopes up all over again for a repeat 1-2% finish?

“Sorry man but I just don’t see it happening. Duncan’s a good man but the MSM would make him look like Attila The Hun.”

You mean like the media makes every conservative, including Sarah Palin look??

The conservative will win if the people get behind him. But the GOP is NEVER going to allow a conservative, like Hunter, to get anywhere, just like they support McCain over a conservative, Hayworth.

The GOP is not conservative.

Does Hunter even want to run again?

We will need Attila The Hun after this nightmare!

Duncan’s a good man but the MSM would make him look like Attila The Hun.

The MSM will make every GOP candidate look like Attila The Hun. That is not an issue. The issue is whether Hunter can even get anywhere in the 2012 primaries. His 2008 run got exactly nowhere.

I like Duncan Hunter a lot. However, I think it would help his chances a lot more to run for Governor of California and then attempt a run for the POTUS. It’s hard to make the leap from Congressional Representative to the White House.

Most Presidents (with the exception of Obammy and a few others) come from the Governor ranks.

IMHO, I like Sarah but put her up against Duncan Hunter on issues, especially national defense, and there is no comparison.
