I am reading the Reagan Diaries right now. Very interesting to note that George Will had accused Reagan of abandoning and betraying the conservative cause. Reagan writes in one entry (c. 1982; —sorry, I don’t have the book with me right now), that Will had not supported him before his primary victories and now he (Will) is saying I am not a true conservative.

George Will is not a conservative. He told Chris Matthews on MSNBC in April of 2008 that he was embarrassed and disgusted at the conservatives that intervened to rescue Terri Schiavo. He's a Terri Schiavo-killing republican. As are Charles Krauthammer and Mitt Romney. What's ironic is that their boy barry’s Death Panel would vote to “terri schiavo” both George Will's Downs Syndrome son and the crippled Krauthammer in a heart beat.

I guess George thinks it is more important if he take up the crusade against blue jeans than we worry about death panels.
