However...if you look closely at his record, aside from being an anti-gun, anti-property right, anti-free-speech, big-spending Republican; his brainchild, the Iraq Study Group, nearly undermined our war effort. Well, I do compare him to my old Congressman from next door, Tom Davis, who joined the democrats who said we should end the war.
I always felt the ISG was a necessary evil to get funding for the troops. Without it we might have lost more votes for the war. But I don’t know whether Wolf supported it on those grounds, or because he was looking for an easy way out.
