I've read from an FR poster (guy who monitored the recount) that it really wasn't even that close. The Dems just weren't able to cheat fast enough, for long enough to make up the difference.

I also learned more from this guy about "hanging chads" and "spoiled ballots" than I'd really care to.

Thank God the SCOTUS cut the process off. Normally, I'm all for State's Rights, but they acted correctly in this case. It was a very, very near thing. IMHO, AlGore would have made BO look like a complete piker when it comes to swinging the country to the left.

You had a state Supreme court perfectly willing to bend the law to elect old asshat. If they had done their job it would never have got to the Supreme Court.
