“It is your insistence that it can be read in no way other than how you and your American Grand Jury super friends read it that is twaddle.

No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President;

You're right again. Clause 5 is so ambiguous that it can be interpreted a myriad of ways.”

This really is like talking to a table. Yes, the Constitution uses the words “natural born citizen.” No one has ever disputed that (hint: it's not a clever retort).

What you seem unable to comprehend is that there are valid factual and legal reasons for believing Obama is a natural born citizen. So citing the fact that the Constitution requires the President to be a NBC is not the all purpose answer you seem to think it is. Basically, you're insisting that the sky isn't blue because you interpret the word “blue” to mean “blue-green.”

None has been provided and that is the whole point of people demanding BO/BS prove he meets the Constitutional requirement of clause 5 by producing his long form birth certificate. Instead he has spent nearly 2 million dollars on a team of lawyers to fight producing any documentation confirming he is a natural born citizen. Millions of Americans could produce such documentation in short order if necessary.

Clause five is the very answer and can't be repeated enough. I didn't interpret anything. I merely copy and pasted clause five. It can't be interpreted any other way other than the way it was written. The Constitution was specifically written by our founding fathers to be unambiguous. It is a clear concise document free of legalese so we the people can understand exactly what our founding fathers intended. Claiming clause five can be interpreted couldn't be more off the mark. BO/BS has failed to prove he is a natural born citizen. I and millions of other Americans are insisting he obey the Constitution. I will be repeating clause 5 until BO/BS either produces the long form birth certificate or he is removed from office.

OMG, is this thread still going? Haven’t any of these birther goobers ever read Wong? I’m not sure it would help. I’m on another birther insanity thread, and even when you put the language in their face, they still run from it. Like vampires from a silver cross, smeared with garlic juice, and the bottom shaped like a stake.

parsy, who does now believe birtherism is an illness worthy of DSM IV inclusion
