Is Nick Popaditch prolife? I didn’t see it on his website, but I looked quickly.
"But they are both friends, they both campaigned for me, and I think it would be a disservice to that loyalty, to those friendships to formally endorse either one of them over the other."
This was disappointing. I suppose you have to play the game to be in it.
BTW:
H.AMDT.68 to H.R.1664 Amendment sought to provide for the President’s funding request for military operations in Kosovo; increase various defense programs including military pay; provide emergency food assistance; and include funding for various agriculture and disaster relief programs.

HR 1664 BILL TITLE: Kosovo and Southwest Asia Supplemental Appropriations Act, 1999
Hunter: NAY
Yes. I believe so. He was making it a point on his facebook page to the fact that his opponent has a 100% NARAL rating. And Duncan Hunter said this about him:
“he’s got the courage of Audie Murphy and he’s got the principles of Ronald Reagan.”
Seems to me he is not playing a game. He is just returning the favor of staying out of two friends primary. It’s the same position that DeMint took, and everyone said it spoke volumes that Jim did not endorse a fellow senator.
Well, Hunter has known McCain alot longer - back in the days when John was even considered a conservative. And yet he won’t endorse him. And he did mention JD would be a fine senator, while Demint said he thought Mccain would win.
I’d much prefer him to campaign for JD, but if Hunter gets his mini-troop of conservative vets he’s supporting to take democrat seats, I’ll forgive him.
I have no problem with someone not wanting to pick between two friends. If he had said just that, good on him. The comment about the fact that they had campaigned for him was unnecessary, and IMO disappointing.

Thanx, that sounds like he is prolife.
But if you talk with him, maybe you would consider suggesting he put that he is prolife on his website. Prolifers would really appreciate that.
He’s going to be doing an FR live interview. So please, participate and ask that question. I’ll announce it a few days ahead of time.
I hear ya
Thank you. I hope I’m home that day. :)
THX again pissant... You’ll be pinging us all (DH Pinglist) to the Gunny Pop thread, I presume (Plz do)...
I'll give him that, but this seemingly compulsory back slapping camaraderie with the enemy of a free republic is still sickening.

That is new information to me. So he voted to not fund a war he voted for?
92 REPUBLICANS JOIN 198 DEMOCRATS IN BACKING CLINTON’S BALKAN AGGRESSION
On April 28[1999](H. Con. Res. 82, Roll Call no. 101), the House voted 139 to 290 to reject a proposal to require the immediate withdrawal of U.S. forces from the Balkan conflict.
Those 92 Republican members of Congress who voted against H. Con. Res. 82 and in support of continuing Clinton’s war were:.....Duncan Hunter (Calif.)

That’s why I didn’t vote for McCain even in the general election. I’m done with the lesser of two evils voting.
