That's something you've got to admire about Texas. It's the wrong place to go into this kind of business. Texas law is so well-considered that it goes even further to protect law-abiding folks who find themselves dealing with people like this doing their thing after dark.

I'm told that the reasoning is that after dark it's impossible to know if someone's armed or not, so anyone who is up to no good after dark is "paid for" and taking their life into their own hands.
