I nearly jumped out of my chair watching the debate on Bill O'Reilly's show last night between Joe Bastardi and Bill Nye. A quick search of the web tells me I wasn't alone. Nye got his lunch eaten. When I get the video, I'll post it here. Fox knows they have something good so it's not released for distribution yet.

When did Bill Nye become Bill Nye the Evil-Looking Guy? His face looks like it’s been pulled back by plastic surgery, and he has some seriously creepy Mr. Spock eyebrows.
I think Bastardi was the one who was clobbered: (1) because he had poor command of his visual props, and whipped through them and (2) Nye was slower and calmer and seemed more confident (decades of TV training).

I think O’REilly is getting lazy. Lately he just has on a lot of guests that do most of the talking and doesn’t do much talking himself. He’s not doing the research and doesn’t have the knowledge and what he says sounds silly.
He doesn’t have the passion he once had.

Indeed. I was going banana’s while watching this and O’Reilly persisting repeatedly with his “Socialism is ...private property” garbage. Then I laughed harder when Juan Williams came on to defend Jack Squat’s socialism/socialistic tendencies. Both O’Reilly and Juam fail! The look on O’Reilly’s face was pricelss when Newt siad “Yes...Jack Squat is a socialist and shows it via his socialistic policies and tendencies”.....
The ironic part was that none of them bothered to note Jack Squat’s past mentions that “you know me by those I surround/identify myself with”.....being 3/4’s of his Czars are socialists or have strong Communist inclinations or a sever fondness for Socialism/Communism. =.=
The socialism debate was lame. Newt was talking about BO’s aims and O’Reilly was talking about the current consition. If BO has his way, we will be socialist. He’s just not getting his way yet.
Watching now. Bill seems a little defeated, none of the pep in his voice. Bill Nye, trying to prove his point with IPCC flawed data.....if we just keep saying “the planet is getting warmer” over and over and over people will believe it. It is because I say so. Pffffftttt!
Oh I so agree.... My response was to the 'Goracle' given the failed divinity student. I do not think the 'last' laugh has been had yet over this playing 'god' in an attempt to enslave US using a deception.
