I just caught this exchange during the re-play of O'Reilly and I thought it was a complete waste of time. A battle of incomprehensible graphs and charts, all filled in with a running commentary of BS.

By the way, Nye's use of the example of Venus is ludicrous -- Venus has a 100 bar surface pressure atmosphere, comparable to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. It's CO2 atmosphere is completely irrelevant to the issue of CO2 content in the Earth's atmosphere. His science is as good as his politics.

Regarding Venus, that could be used to counter global warming if we wanted.

I don’t have time to do the math myself, but from wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunlight

Venus - 2647-2576 W/m2
Earth - 1413-1321 W/m2

So Venus receives about twice as much solar radiation as the earth does. So the sun has a huge impact in “global warming.”
