With CPAC 2010 finished, media reports are swirling discussing Governor Palins absence from this event, which they billed as mandatory for conservative candidates for anything. Was it?

He was one of Romney earliest supporters for the 08 election cycle.
He played his card. He’s shown his card. I don’t think he is any less a conservative but it is a big letdown as DeMint is a top tier conservative.
He’s likely making a play for VP with Romney.
Schwarzenegger, Gingrich, Hannity, Huckabee, and Perry...now there’s a line-up of rock-ribbed ‘conservatives’...like the rest of the speakers, though...
Well, I haven’t trusted a politician since Reagan, and Hunter, so nothing would surprise me anymore. I don’t care a rats a$$ what any politician SAYS. I only care what they have done, and are currently DOING.
“Schwarzenegger, Gingrich, Hannity, Huckabee, and Perry...now theres a line-up of rock-ribbed conservatives.”
Yeah, if one likes broken ribs ;-)
Go Sarah!
I put my faith in Christ before any and all politicians.
I’ve you’ve ever been active at the local level, you’ll find out that you can’t trust any of them.

Should read...can’t throw them....
“I put my faith in Christ before any and all politicians.”
Only way to go.
“Ive youve ever been active at the local level”
I have been since about age 20. I’m 55.
i hear that...i sure hope DeMint doesn’t repeat
he has a new right wing group...forget what they call it
49 Here...
Clinton seemed like the worst of the worst....this guy I believe truely, to be a Marxist.
He will go down as the worst since Jimmy Carter, he is damaging our nation...I’m surprised nobody has taken a shot at him yet.
2010 and 2012 could be real realignment toward conservatism.
“..this guy I believe truely, to be a Marxist.”
Of course he is. He has been since about the age of 20, and he has never looked back. We really need to impeach him, but he would have to commit some heinous felony for anyone to try.
I was for Hunter. When he fizzled, I half heartedly went for Thompson. Then there was nothing left but losers.
Jeri Thompson would be better than Fred.
I agree with you, Ann.
Hmmm....IMHO, couple of names on there are a waste of time...Barbour, Gingrich, Pawlenty...all border-line RINOs??.
