Wiki has a pretty fair rundown of the governor’s race and I agree about Hoekstra.

I don’t trust this Snyder guy. He plays himself off as some kind of computer nerd but as far as I can tell he’s an attorney who happened to run Gateway.

Verg Bernero seems to be on the outs with the unions for some reason but I haven’t really paid any attention.

I like Mike Cox more than Hoesktra. However, I can support either.
Cox got a rap from not investigating Kwame in Detriot any deeper. Unfortunately, he was indeed limited in what he could do. For the most part, the AG cannot initiate investigations and they really don’t have any staff to do investigations. They rely on municipal or State Police. He is working hard to get the republican nominations and for the most part,he does know what he is talking about. He did improve the AG office after Grandholm left it in a bit of a mess.
