I don’t see the smoking gun yet that shows we have a Conspiracy From On High here to nose into students’ lives in accordance with the Great Commie Agenda. This is as easily attributed to stupidity as to malice.
For liability reasons alone, laptops loaned to students and taken off school premises should not even have cameras. A compromising photo that a student took could end up digging a hole in a school district’s deep pocket.
Makes perfect sense, doesn't it? Makes one wonder why they sent them home with cameras in the first place.
