This is going to result in the Left spinning to
a) Pass laws that will impinge upon our freedoms in the name of safety.
b) try to pass gun control laws even though weapons had absolutely nothing to do with it but they will...
c) Give the IRS more oppressive powers to investigate those that say anything negative or are disgusted with the actions of the IRS.
d) Allow the IRS powers that can be corrupted by the prominent political power
e)Allow the IRS to dally around for the next couple of years with respect to our tax returns because of all of the damage to their infrastructure (anyone remember the VA fire at St. Louis?).

I make these predictions now and believe each and everyone of them will be attempted or instituted using this incident as the stimulation.
