2/17/2009 - The Toyota executive in charge of quality control said the company is reviewing fewer than 100 complaints about power steering in the Corolla. Toyota sold nearly 1.3 million Corollas worldwide last year, including nearly 300,000 in the United States, where it trailed only Camry as Toyota's most popular model.

More UAW hijinx. They really want to beat Toyo to a pulp to force them to have UAW goons in non-union Toyo plants.

...reviewing fewer than 100 complaints .... Toyota sold nearly 1.3 million Corollas worldwide last year...

Statistically insignificant and far fewer issues than many other recalls had. Please don't tell me this isn't politically motivated by a government that has a vested interested in Toyota's competition.

It appears to me that Toyota is clearly in the sites of a certain Government and union.

“Please don’t tell me this isn’t politically motivated.....”

I’m convinced that it is. I have less than 200 miles on my 2010 Tundra CrewMax Limited and I’m not going to let any of this bother me.

That would describe a couple governments at this point. Which one are we referring to?

Ron Gettelfinger(UAW Pres.)has sure been keeping a low profile lately....back when the bail-outs were the talk of the town you couldn't see a TV screen without his ugly mug.

No doubt...it's ALL political.

There is going to be a big backlash from Japan when all is said and done. Didn't the Toyota CEO today basically tell the congressional committee to take a flying....fruck?

How does the #1 auto maker with the highest quality standards move from there to here? Oh, let me guess - - -> the lamestream, state controlled media!!!

Yes, I win - hands down.

The same media blitz tactics for climategate and healthscare were implemented. If the press was believable, I would see dead bodies daily along the 405 ---> victims without health insurance. Then, the traffic would be at a standstill nationwide due to all the faulty Toyotas. BTW, I NEVER see a stalled Toyota, and I DON'T see a higher percentage involved in accidents.

Put that in your UAW pipe and smoke it!
