Newsweek Asserts 'Terror Begins At Home' -- With the Republicans

Newsweek’s latest issue features an article by managing editor Daniel Klaidman that blatantly associates Republican criticism of the Obama administration with terrorism. Its title in the table of contents is "Terror Begins at Home: The GOP’s Scare Tactics." Inside the magazine, the headline is "Terror Begins at Home: Fearmongering Politicians Are Scoring Cheap Political Points at the Expense of the American People."

In the magazine, the article is illustrated with a blurry drawing of male underwear. Online, its lead image is a finger-pointing photo of Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.).

Is there an article in Newsweek that isn’t an editorial? Klaidman was firing rhetorical salvos at Republicans and their "ritualistic hazing" of liberals from the very first sentence:

Yeah, I’m astounded at how preposterous Time and Newsweek have become. I know the other week one ran a cover featuring a story written by Obama. To say they’ve become left wing rags is generous.

Who in the world subscribes to newsweak?

Mostly older people, in my experience. Our next door neighbors, each over 75, thoroughly brainwash themselves with Newsweek, Time, the Philly Inquirer, and the NYT. I'm sure they tune into the ABCBSNBCCNN, too.

They mean well and are good people, but are woefully misinformed. Three years ago I told them global warming was a hoax, a political vehicle for increased government control. They looked at me like I was crazy, or a heretic.

A big piece of the puzzle fell into place 6 months ago when their 45 year-old single daughter moved back home with them. I thought she was their son at first. Turned out to be a butch homosexual, complete with rainbow-stickered pickup truck and flannel/denim wardrobe. I'm sure she'd feeding them a steady stream of liberal BS.
