Everybody does it, bloggers are the "red-headed step-child" of the media world. Because we find and publish the news that the mainstream media is too biased to consider, we are also at the center of attacks when people lash out. The President and his spokespeople do it, MSNBC does it and now the climatologist at the center of Climategate Phil Jones, is doing it.

In an interview with the science journal Nature, he admits some mistakes but really rips into the blogisphere. But then again, it was the blogisphere that brought down Jones, and threatens the entire hoax.

It's not a hoax. It's a fraud. Hoaxes are supposed to be amusing.
