I know several women who have given birth at home and say it is the best experience ever. One was even in her mid-late forties and her husband delivered the baby at home.
I’m expecting baby #5 and briefly considered it. Very briefly. I have much more peace of mind with medical staff and life saving equipment available.
Still, one has to wonder why they are trying to make home births illegal?
I should have written “mid to late forties”...not sure of her exact age.
