These are brave souls fighting the cause that Ronald Reagan took up years ago
Ronald Reagan was an anti-whaling eco-nazi?
Who knew?

IBTZ, I see. It’s always nice to be around for the kill. And this looks like a whale of a kill to me...

Bull on both counts.

And as of this post, someone has vandalized the thread I started, adding the word douche to Commander Watsons name, and the blurb about Eco-Nazis. Wah!

The little racing vessel was dead in the water, as any experienced seaman can see. Ive spent years at sea, you, how many hours open ocean?I have a number of blue water sailing cruises under my belt, months on the open ocean at a time as navigator, helmsman, radio operator, and watch stander, and that's enough for me to be able to recognize that: A) The boat was moving and maneuverable. B) The smaller, more maneuverable boat must yield. C) Any vessel hoisting a Jolly Roger is fair game for sinking, as its intent has been declared as hostile.

The prop wash roostertail you see there?
At bay says it isn't there.

It initially was a racing boat called “Earthrace”.
Sea Sheperd called it a weapon.
They didn’t mention the prop fouler launch rails on the back end in any of their propaganda videos.
But they did smugly state that whaling will end this year because of that boat.
I am glad it sunk.

I’m probably one of the few who don’t have a problem with whaling. But I also don’t have problems with hunting, caviar, goose liver pate, wearing fur or taxidermy either.

If the ship was sunk, all the useless fussing is not going to change that fact.

We've got a live eco-numskull. Permission has been granted by Admin Mod re post 72 for abuse of article poster as you kitties see fit. Have fun! Hippie-flavored kitty toy - my favorite!
I've had the displeasure of crossing paths with this particular (soon-to-be-ex?) FReeper before. Therefore, this thread is just all that much more delectable. :-)

So you don’t have a problem with Watson and his granola flakes boarding Japanese whalers, trying to foul their props and ruin their machinery, and throwing stink bombs at them?
What’s hilarious is watching the Sea Shepherd morons commit all this vandalism...then the Japanese lob one flashbang at them and they collectively tofu-shit themselves and start screaming that they’re “under attack.”
All these whackjobs are doing is besmirching the names of a well-liked TV personality (Bob Barker) and a well-loved conservationist and Aussie icon (Steve Irwin). One of these days Watson is going to royally cock it up and get one of his hippie amateur sailors DEAD. Then what’ll you say?

Brave Sir Robin ran away
Bravely, ran away...away...
When danger reared its ugly head
He bravely turned his tail and fled
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
And gallantly he chickened out
Bravely talking to his feet
He beat a very brave retreat
Bravest of the brave, Sir Robin
